
MEET THE MUSIC SUPERVISORS - 2014
Igen i 2014 sætter Promus fokus på arbejdet med musik, TV, film og reklamer under SPOT Festival - Music, Interactive & FIlms, når vi afholder speed-meetings under overskriften "Meet The Music Supervisors". Og det er noget af et hold, der kommer over Atlanten til maj!
Der er ingen tvivl om, at der ligger et stort potentiale i arbejdet med at koble musik, film, TV og reklamer, og dermed skabe sig en platform for afsætningen af sin musik - også internationalt. OG der er allerede nu en række danske bands, der har deres økonomi funderet i dette arbejde. det gælader bl.a. for Efterklang, Nelson Can, Powersolo, Alphabeat, Carpark North - og selvfølgelig The Blue Van, der jo blev "synchet" på den første iPad-kampagne.
Herhjemme er der også flere og flere folk, der virkelig arbejder meget aktivt på dette område, og derfor syntes vi det giver rigtig god mening at være med til at styrke dette arbejde, og derfor arbejder vi nu på at få inviteret et eksklusivt hold at internationale music supervisere til at besøge Aarhus og SPOT Festival - Music, Interactive & Films til vores - efterhånden - traditionelle "speed-meeting"-session.
Indtil videre kan vi præsentere de tre nedenstående "kombattanter" - men flere er på vej.
Andrew Kahn – Good Ear Music, Brooklyn (foto)
Andrew Kahn works as an independent music supervisor at his company Good Ear Music Supervision (GEMS) for brands such as Target, Southern Comfort, ESPN, Honda, Cadillac, Pepsi, and more. From 2007-2011 he served as the in-house music supervisor at TBWA/Media Arts Lab, overseeing Apple's iconic commercials, and prior to that as the Music Coordinator on HBO's 'The Sopranos.' Andrew keeps on his musical toes DJ'ing events in LA and NYC, and consulting for brands such as Human Rights Watch and FixFood.
Chris Clark – Leo Burnett, Chicago
Chris Clark is an advertising, media and music industry professional with 9+ years of versatile experience across television media buying, boutique music marketing, client management and creative/production of music-focused advertising. He is currently the Senior Music Producer at Leo Burnett USA in Chicago responsible for music strategy, song/artist curation, deal negotiation and licensing execution across the agency client roster, including Samsung, Sprint, Kellogg’s, Allstate, Nintendo, Coke, McDonald’s, Firestone, Altria and more.
Andrea has done music supervision for film, television and online projects for over ten years. Credits include independent films such as (500) Days Of Summer, It’s Kind of A Funny Story, From Prada To Nada, Bellflower, Excision, and Can A Song Save Your Life?. Studio films such as Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Chronicle, and Chasing Mavericks. Music documentaries such as The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights and Butch Walker: Out Of Focus. Television work includes Dollhouse, Stargate Universe, Don't Trust The B In Apt. 23 and numerous MTV shows such as Run’s House and Life Of Ryan. She is currently working on the studio film Devil's Due, the independent films There's Always Woodstock, Time Lapse, A Girl And A Gun, and Suburban Gothic in addition to consulting on the Emmy Award winning show Modern Family.
”MEET THE SUPERVISORS & PUBLISHERS” vil blive afviklet, lørdag d. 3. maj fra 11:00 – 14:00.

Promus is a partner with SPOT Music - Film – Interactive, an international festival, which showcases emerging Nordic talent and creative companies within the three areas. This co-operation aims to stimulate the existing common ground between music, film and interactive towards both the audience and the B2B-segment, and which exploit the common resources, competencies and network both locally, nationally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
