Promus - the music community of Aarhus

THE VISION behind Promus is to gather knowledge, innovation, networking and growth layer initiatives on the music scene in Aarhus under one umbrella.
OUR MISSION is to strengthen and equip the city’s many music industry participants for the great challenges its music scene faces in the future.
As a meeting point for skills, networking and production, Promus is the first of its kind in Denmark.

Promus houses 20 work units that can be rented for shorter or longer periods – new shared office facilities for music industry players - as well as three production rooms which can be used for anything music-related, including showcasing, production performers, presentations, recording, production and much more.

For the growth layer in Aarhus Promus has introduced a mentor scheme where new players can find advice and support from the established music industry.
Consultancy is one of our core focus areas – and it is not only aimed at the growth layer. Help and good advice about music industry issues, contracts, etc. are available to everyone.

Promus also regularly arranges courses, panel discussions and debates on topical issues in the music industry.
